About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the energy sector during the Winter 2027 term. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain insight into field operations and the systems used to meet customer needs. This is a full-time, paid position that focuses on professional development through project work, coaching, and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
- Assist experienced engineers with field operations such as drilling, well testing, and equipment maintenance.
- Collect and analyze data from field activities to identify trends or issues.
- Troubleshoot problems related to field operations and equipment.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it remains in proper working order.
- Maintain detailed records of field activities, equipment inspections, and safety measures.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards in all situations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or a related STEM field.
- A GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Fluency in oral and written English with effective communication skills.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
