About the role#
This internship program offers students the chance to gain professional experience within the energy technology sector. You will work on projects that support our systems and processes while receiving coaching and mentoring from a manager and a dedicated buddy. This role is full-time and provides insights into how we meet customer needs through technical execution.
What you'll do#
- Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
- Assist engineers and technologists with research, data analysis, and technical support.
- Participate in the design process, create drawings or prototypes, and contribute to new product development.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments and project information while preparing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate on software development, coding, and programming tasks.
- Work within a team to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Identify technical challenges and propose solutions.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards to all work tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or a related STEM field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
- Fluency in written and oral English.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
