About the role#
Attain Sports is seeking a Stadium Operations Intern to support the daily functions of a 5,000-seat ballpark. This role is designed for students seeking academic credit. You will work alongside the operations and grounds team to maintain the facility and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
What you'll do#
- Assist with facility preparation for home games and outside events.
- Help with the daily operation and maintenance of the stadium.
- Set up and break down non-game events held at the facility.
- Shadow operations staff to learn about facility inspections, vendor reviews, and invoice management.
- Manage the organization and inventory of storage spaces.
- Assist with the winterization of the field.
- Support the operations team to keep the ballpark running safely and efficiently.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student in Sport Management, Facility Management, or a related field.
- Ability to receive academic credit for this internship.
- Availability to work event nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Experience or comfort with the safe operation of small engine equipment like leaf blowers and string trimmers.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to complete tasks on time.
