About the role#
Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation is seeking an intern to support business operations for the Calgary Hitmen, Calgary Roughnecks, and Calgary Wranglers. This is an eight-month paid internship starting in October 2025. You will report to the Calgary Wranglers Manager of Business Operations and contribute to team activities for 20 to 30 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and execute in-game promotions.
- Support community activations and team appearances.
- Manage administrative tasks as assigned.
- Work game nights as required by the event schedule.
- Participate in the Safety Program and follow all safety protocols.
What you'll need#
- Completed or ongoing degree or certificate in Public Relations, Communications, Business, or Sports Marketing/Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional demeanor and the ability to work well in a team.
- Reliable transportation for off-site events.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
