    About the role#

    As a Client Advisor Intern, you will serve as an ambassador for RBC. You will work directly with clients to manage their everyday banking needs, provide advice, and help them reach their financial goals. This role requires a focus on client service and problem solving in a branch environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Engage with clients in the branch and the community to uncover their banking needs.
    • Provide advice, identify sales opportunities, and handle referrals.
    • Teach clients how to use digital banking tools and technology.
    • Manage client-initiated contact and assist with financial transactions.
    • Listen to clients to understand their needs and resolve banking problems.
    • Build relationships with internal partners to support business opportunities.

    What you'll need#

    • Passion for putting clients first and experience in a target-driven sales environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
    • Flexibility, a willingness to learn, and high personal ethics.
    • Digital literacy across devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
    • Availability to work all business hours.
    • Pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
    • A track record in financial or service industries and Mutual Funds accreditation are considered assets.
