About the role#
As a Production Quality Intern, you will work alongside our Design, Production, Quality, and Test engineering teams. You will help develop inspection and verification procedures while supporting root cause analysis to address non-conformance issues. This role focuses on improving our production systems and factory health through data-driven insights and metrics.
What you'll do#
- Create and refine inspection and verification procedures for satellite hardware.
- Support root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for quality improvement.
- Develop dashboards and visuals to monitor and track factory health.
- Support the development of new processes and systems to improve production quality.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in hardware development and manufacturing systems.
- Hands-on design and development experience.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You must be able to work on-site 5 days a week.

- This internship is based in San Francisco, California.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid position at $29.00 per hour.
