About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in behavioral health. You will work within the clinical department to gain real-world skills while completing your degree requirements. This is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Conduct person-centered assessments covering behavioral health, education, vocational needs, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and referral agencies to develop service or treatment plans.
- Deliver activity-based interventions tailored to specific client needs.
- Connect clients with necessary community resources and support services.
- Document client interactions accurately and maintain confidentiality.
- Attend team and inter-agency meetings to coordinate care.
- Assist families and clients with aftercare planning.
- Build relationships with community partners to help clients navigate systems of care.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Social Work or a related licensure-track field.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and a drug screening.
