About the role#
Arisa Health offers a social work internship for students seeking hands-on experience in mental and behavioral health. This role provides an opportunity to work within a clinical setting to develop professional skills in case management and care coordination while gaining exposure to QBHP-level work.
What you'll do#
- Observe and assist with QBHP-level work.
- Gain experience in case management and care coordination.
- Conduct person-centered assessments covering behavioral health, education, vocational needs, relationships, and community engagement.
- Develop service or treatment plans alongside clients, families, and referral agencies.
- Provide activity and participation-based interventions tailored to individual client needs.
- Connect clients with community resources and support services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in a timely manner.
- Participate in team and inter-agency meetings.
- Support clients and families with aftercare planning.
- Build relationships with community partners and guide clients through systems of care.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Social Work or a related licensure-track field.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
