About the role#
This is a full-time, 10-week summer internship based in Bettendorf, Iowa. You will join the Rolled Products North America Sales and Operation Planning team to work on data governance and business planning processes. Each intern is paired with a manager and a mentor to support professional development. The program includes networking opportunities, plant tours, and the chance to present project findings to leadership.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and implementation of data governance processes and standards for key supply chain data fields.
- Document data definitions, ownership models, and governance procedures.
- Analyze data trends and identify root causes of data quality issues.
- Collaborate with functional data owners to improve the consistency and reliability of information.
- Build data quality dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools to track progress.
- Present project findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- An expected graduation date between August 2027 and May 2028.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Previous experience in data analytics, reporting, or process improvement through internships, co-ops, or research.
- Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Anaplan.
- Knowledge of data governance, master data, and data quality principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Initiative, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Participation in extracurricular, leadership, or community activities.
- Interest in supply chain planning, business analytics, and digital transformation.
