About the role#
This summer internship provides hands-on experience within the insurance industry. You will work alongside professionals to develop technical skills and gain exposure to corporate tax functions. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the upkeep, testing, and documentation of tax technology applications, databases, and reporting tools.
- Support data validation, data uploads, and reconciliation processes for tax provision and compliance workflows.
- Review workpapers and source data used in federal and state income tax compliance.
- Help maintain tax process documentation, internal controls, and audit support materials.
What you'll need#
- You are actively completing a graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- You are a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior student with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is required.
- An interest in corporate income tax and technology is preferred.
- You should be a self-starter who works well independently and collaborates effectively within a team.
Location & details#
- This role is based in White Plains, New York.
- The internship is a hybrid position, requiring 2 days onsite and 3 days of remote work per week.
- The program runs from June 2, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- The hourly pay rate is $26. Relocation and housing assistance are not provided.
