About the role#
This summer internship provides hands-on experience within the insurance industry. You will work alongside legal professionals and participate in departmental projects. The program runs from June 2, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Review contracts, including IT transactions, NDAs, Statements of Work, AI, and Data Privacy & Security matters.
- Support the legal team in discussions regarding risk, compliance, and governance with various business segments.
- Contribute to departmental projects and ongoing programs.
- Handle document review, legal research, and administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited law school as a 1L or 2L student.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in productivity tools such as Excel, CoPilot, PowerPoint, Word, or Google products.
- Interest in corporate law, insurance, and contract analysis.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position with an hourly rate of $26-$28.
- Locations: White Plains, NY; New York, NY; or Raleigh, NC.
- Modality: Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote).
