About the role#
Arch Capital Group Ltd. offers an 8-week summer internship program for students to gain experience in the insurance industry. This role provides exposure to reinsurance and corporate accounting through a mix of educational sessions and practical work. You will work alongside experienced team members to develop professional skills and explore career paths.
What you'll do#
- Learn key accounting systems, processes, and best practices used across the organization.
- Complete hands-on training and individual project work with guidance from the team.
- Assist with research and various accounting tasks to build your understanding of reinsurance.
- Collaborate with other interns on team initiatives and a final capstone project.
- Manage your own priorities and deadlines to deliver results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore in a bachelor degree program for Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2028 and May 2029.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Morristown, New Jersey.
- Term: June 2, 2027, to July 23, 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with 4 days onsite and 1 day from home.
- Compensation: $26 per hour.
