About the role#
As a Social Media Operations Co-Op Student, you will join the Brand Marketing team to help shape how our brand connects with outdoor enthusiasts. You will assist in executing social media campaigns and managing the digital assets that bring our storytelling to life. This role offers hands-on experience in digital marketing strategy, content planning, and community engagement within the outdoor apparel industry.
What you'll do#
- Manage day-to-day operations for the Global Social Media team, including content calendars and publishing workflows.
- Coordinate the intake of photography and motion assets, handling file organization, metadata, and database processing.
- Support cross-functional teams by facilitating the social briefing process and coordinating asset handoffs between athletes, paid media, and regional partners.
- Maintain and update process documentation, briefing guides, templates, and onboarding resources.
- Support social media operations for Arc’teryx Academies and major brand events, including real-time content organization and post-event asset distribution.
- Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and create more scalable ways of working.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Marketing, Communications, or related program, ideally in your 3rd or 4th year.
- A keen interest in social media and digital marketing, paired with a passion for the outdoor lifestyle.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt your tone to the brand.
- Proactive and organized approach to managing multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Foundational experience with creative tools like Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while taking initiative on projects.
- Commitment to values of sustainability, innovation, and the outdoors.
Location & details#
- Location: North Vancouver, British Columbia.
- Term: Eight months, from January 4, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with a mix of in-office and remote work.
- Commitment: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $42,100 to $55,100 CAD, dependent on year of study and experience.
