About the role#
This position is for students interested in food service or catering operations on campus. You will work as part of a team to prepare food, maintain safety standards, and provide service to guests. This is a paid, on-site role with a rolling application process.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items using standardized recipes.
- Store food properly according to safety standards.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations.
- Serve food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Keep food items replenished and stocked to appropriate levels.
- Maintain a positive demeanor and provide service to guests and co-workers.
- Adhere to safety policies and ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to obtain food safety certification.
- Demonstrated guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or personal protective equipment as required.
- Enrollment in majors such as Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Nutrition, Public Health, Kinesiology, or Agriculture is relevant to our campus operations.

- Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
