About the role#
Ankura is hiring Summer 2027 interns for the Legal Technology and Data Analytics team. This role focuses on eDiscovery, data processing, and forensics projects related to investigations and litigation matters. You will work in a collaborative environment on engagements involving commercial and regulatory disputes. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Design approaches to solve data-related challenges using technology.
- Manage the identification, collection, processing, review, and production of electronic data.
- Create data visualizations, summaries, written analyses, and presentations.
- Document processes thoroughly throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage your time and tasks to meet client deadlines.
- Participate in internal and external meetings.
- Maintain a professional image.
- Be prepared for potential travel and overtime requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- A degree in MIS, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Law, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or a related analytical field.
- A solid academic record.
- A strong interest in using technology to manage data and solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication, quantitative, and organizational skills.
- Strong logic, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well in team-oriented projects.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. (this role does not offer sponsorship).

- This internship is based on-site.
- Locations: New York, NY; Chicago, IL; San Francisco, CA; Washington, DC.
- Compensation: $34 per hour.
