About the role#
Ankura is seeking summer interns for the Legal Technology and Data Analytics team. This role focuses on eDiscovery, data processing, and forensics projects related to investigations and litigation matters. You will work within a collaborative team to help clients manage unstructured and structured data. Interns gain exposure to technologies such as Relativity, predictive coding applications, and SQL while working on commercial and regulatory disputes.
What you'll do#
- Design approaches to solve data challenges using technology.
- Execute projects involving the identification, organization, collection, processing, review, and production of electronic data.
- Create summaries, data visualizations, and written analyses of your work.
- Manage tasks to meet deadlines for clients in time-sensitive industries.
- Generate documentation to support processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in internal and external meetings.
- Maintain a professional image and be prepared for travel or overtime as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program in MIS, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Law, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or another analytical area.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong academic performance.
- Ability to solve complex data problems using technology.
- Excellent communication, quantitative, and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and motivation to succeed.
- Attention to detail and logic-based problem-solving skills.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizen or permanent resident).
