About the role#
Ankura is hiring interns for the Legal Technology and Data Analytics team. You will work within our eDiscovery, data processing, and forensics practice. This role involves supporting investigations and litigation matters by transforming large datasets into actionable intelligence. You will gain exposure to tools like Relativity, SQL, and predictive coding applications while working alongside our machine learning experts.
What you'll do#
- Design approaches to solve data-related challenges using technology.
- Manage the identification, collection, processing, review, and production of electronic data.
- Build data visualizations, summaries, and written analyses for project presentations.
- Document processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage tasks to meet deadlines for clients in time-sensitive industries.
- Attend internal and external meetings.
- Maintain a professional standard in all work and interactions.
- Be prepared for potential travel and overtime requirements.
What you'll need#
- Graduation between December 2027 and June 2028 with a Bachelor degree in MIS, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Law, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or a related analytical field.
- Strong academic performance.
- Interest in using technology to solve complex data problems.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and produce high-quality work.
- Strong communication, quantitative, and organizational skills.
- Logic-based problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizen or permanent resident).
Location & details#
- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Full-time and paid at $34 per hour.
- Modality: On-site.
