About the role#
As a Summer 2027 Intern, you will join the Enterprise Integration Technical Delivery team. This role focuses on how Cencora empowers its workforce to adopt AI responsibly. You will balance technical tasks with human-focused work, including change management, content creation, and metrics analysis. You will gain experience in a regulated industry while building core business and communication skills.
What you'll do#
- Create materials, conduct research, and support the enablement of communities of practice.
- Explore change management strategies and measure AI adoption in the workplace.
- Develop documentation for tools, scripts, and process updates.
- Support ongoing AI projects, reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
- Learn team tools and assist with small AI-related tasks across integration projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and internship program activities.
- Present project outcomes and key learnings at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Development, or Information Technology.
- Preferred status as a rising sophomore, junior, or senior.
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership through academic, extracurricular, volunteer, or work experiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- AI knowledge or project-related experience is highly desired.
