About the role#
This position is for an advanced undergraduate or graduate student to join the team as a Student Reporter. You will focus on researching and reporting on issues that affect public media across the United States. This is a part-time role based on campus.
What you'll do#
- Research and report on topics related to public media.
- Think analytically about how media is funded, created, and distributed.
- Collaborate with the team on news reporting and publishing tasks.
What you'll need#
- You must be an enrolled student at American University.
- You should be an advanced undergraduate or graduate student in journalism or communications.
- Strong writing skills are required.
- You must be able to work well with others on reporting and publishing projects.
Location & details#
- Location: Washington, DC (Main Campus).
- Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week.
- Pay: $18.40 per hour.
- Term: Rolling.
