About the role#
This internship supports original lifestyle programming at NESN, specifically Dining Playbook, Meet Boston, and New England Blueprint. You will work with the Content Strategist and Brand Partnerships Manager to support production, marketing, and brand storytelling. This is a part-time position averaging 12 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist with scheduling meetings, shoots, and team planning sessions.
- Capture behind-the-scenes and on-location footage for social media.
- Create and edit Instagram Reels and other short-form content.
- Conduct trend research to find emerging topics in food and lifestyle.
- Help prepare materials for sponsor segments.
- Support the coordination of events for each show.
- Maintain and organize shared team assets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative campaign ideas.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at a college or university.
- Preferred majors include Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or Journalism.
- Ability to capture content and create stylized reels for social channels.
- Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- A valid driver license and appropriate auto insurance coverage.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
