About the role#
The Project on Civic Dialogue (PCD) is hiring a student fellow to support its mission. You will work directly with the PCD Director, Program Coordinator, and Faculty Fellows to help shape the program. This role involves a mix of administrative support, research, and creative project leadership. You will also participate in a training workshop and receive feedback through session debriefs to help you facilitate dialogue among participants.
What you'll do#
- Spark dialogue among participants during sessions.
- Assist with curriculum development and design.
- Develop new coursework.
- Conduct research to support the program.
- Lead creative projects and implement new initiatives.
- Handle administrative tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be an enrolled student at American University.
- You must have completed the one-credit course GOVT-184: Dialogue for Civic Engagement.
Location & details#
- Location: Main Campus, Washington, DC.
- Schedule: Part-time, 10 hours per week.
- Pay: $18.40 per hour.
- Term: Rolling.
