About the role#
The WCL Alumni Relations team is looking for a student to support administrative, communication, and event operations. This role helps maintain alumni records and assists with the day-to-day functions of the office.
What you'll do#
- Update databases, spreadsheets, mailing lists, and listservs.
- Build email messages and registration pages using digital templates.
- Draft thank you and stewardship messages for alumni.
- Coordinate activities between students and alumni.
- Help with event preparation for both on and off campus programs.
- Monitor event registration and track RSVPs.
- Provide occasional campus tours for visiting alumni and guests.
- Collect, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries.
- Organize and maintain alumni materials.
What you'll need#
- You must be an enrolled American University student.
- You must be a 2L, 3L, 4L, or LLM student.
Location & details#
- This position is located on the Tenley Campus in Washington, DC.
- This is a part-time role at 20 hours per week.
- The pay rate is $18.40 per hour.
