About the role#
The Quantitative Research Methodology Assistant supports faculty with quantitative data analysis software. You will work with the Director of Data and Statistical Analysis to help faculty navigate tools like SPSS, STATA, SAS, EViews, Mathematica, MATLAB, and R. This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Provide training and guidance to faculty on quantitative software.
- Lead one-on-one consultations to address specific research needs.
- Facilitate custom workshops for individual departments.
- Run general faculty workshops as part of CFE programming.
- Research new tools and troubleshoot technical questions from faculty.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.

- You must be an enrolled American University student to be eligible for this position.
- Proficiency in quantitative data analysis software.
