    About the role#

    The Office of Career Development in the School of International Service provides career advising, programming, and resources for students pursuing careers in international affairs. This role supports general administrative operations and program planning under the supervision of the Director. You will work within a team committed to inclusive excellence by developing resources that support students from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

    What you'll do#

    • Create the weekly jobs and internships list for the student career e-newsletter via Handshake.
    • Monitor event registrations and assist in maximizing attendance.
    • Track student engagement in events, workshops, and appointments.
    • Design and distribute feedback surveys, then report key findings to the team.
    • Support day-of event logistics, including attendee check-in, room setup, breakdown, and Zoom support.
    • Respond to emails and phone calls from students, faculty, staff, and external partners.
    • Attend weekly planning and check-in meetings with the team.

    What you'll need#

    • Must be eligible for Federal Work Study.
    • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student.
    • Preferred degree in international studies, communications, or a related field.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
    • High level of reliability, professionalism, and initiative.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
    • Interest or experience in international affairs is preferred.

    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Employment Type: Part-time (15 hours per week).
