About the role#
This is a full-time Hardware Development Engineer Co-op position for the Fall 2026 term. You will join an interdisciplinary team to work on the design, validation, and optimization of consumer products. This role offers exposure to the complete product design lifecycle, from initial concept through to high-volume manufacturing. You will work alongside senior engineers to gain hands-on experience in hardware engineering.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design consumer products.
- Perform schematic design and debug hardware issues.
- Validate hardware performance.
- Develop automated test tools using LabVIEW or HPVEE.
- Travel to support engineering builds.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university co-op program.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience with embedded systems, including analog and digital skills.
- Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting and debugging.
- Knowledge of schematic design.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
