About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Hardware Development Engineer Co-op position for the Fall 2026 term. You will work alongside senior engineers to support the design, validation, and optimization of consumer products throughout the complete product lifecycle. This role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week and is an on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Engage with a cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products.
- Perform schematic design and debug hardware issues.
- Develop automated test tools using LabVIEW or HPVEE.
- Travel to support engineering builds and gain experience with high-volume manufacturing.
- Collaborate with internal teams and outside partners to drive product definition and execution.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university co-op program.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience with embedded systems, including analog and digital skills.
- Proficiency in general hardware troubleshooting and debugging.
- Knowledge of schematic design and debug processes.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the co-op.
