About the role#
The Amazon Finance Rotation Program (AFRP) Business Unit Finance Internship offers students the opportunity to drive financial and business decisions through the ownership of an individual project. Interns are placed within the Finance and Global Business Services organization, supporting teams such as AWS, Devices and Services, Operations Finance, Central FP&A, and the Stores organization. This role requires working 40 hours per week for a 12-week period during the summer.
What you'll do#
- Take ownership of an individual intern project, driving it from data analysis to final resolution.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify capital investment requirements and cost reduction opportunities.
- Design and maintain reporting tools to enable business partners to take action.
- Interpret and communicate project results and standard work to finance and business leadership.
- Evaluate and quantify new business ideas to drive improvements in customer service.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Graduation conferral date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the 12-week summer internship.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Preferred skills include intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, strong organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability to use data to make decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across organizational levels.

- Relocation: Ability to relocate to Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA is required.
