About the role#
The Amazon Finance Rotation Program (AFRP) Business Unit Finance internship provides an opportunity to drive financial decisions and deliver results through the ownership of an individual project. Interns work within teams across the Finance and Global Business Services organization, including AWS, Devices and Services, Operations Finance, Central FP&A, and the Stores organization. You will evaluate new business ideas and perform data-intensive analyses to improve how the company serves customers.
What you'll do#
- Dive deep into data to support recommendations and drive resolution for your individual project.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify capital investment requirements and cost reduction opportunities.
- Design and maintain reporting to enable business partners to take action.
- Interpret and communicate project results and standard work to finance and business leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout a 12-week summer internship.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and VBA.
- Strong academic, leadership, or extracurricular record.
- Understanding of business fundamentals and accounting concepts.
- Ability to influence across all levels of an organization and act strategically under ambiguity.

- Location: Seattle, Washington.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site role. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
