About the role#
The Operations Finance Rotational Program (OFRP) internship provides hands-on experience in driving business and financial decisions. Interns own an individual project that requires evaluating new business ideas and performing data-intensive analysis. You will be placed on a finance team supporting a specific area of the supply chain, such as Customer Fulfillment, Amazon Logistics, or Amazon Air. While the internship itself is not rotational, successful interns may be considered for the full-time, two-year rotational program upon completion.
What you'll do#
- Dive deep into data to support recommendations and drive resolution for your individual intern project.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify capital investment requirements and cost reduction opportunities.
- Partner with operational leadership and frontline associates to develop and enact process improvements within the supply chain.
- Design and maintain reporting to enable business partners to take action.
- Interpret and communicate project results and standard work outputs to finance, operations, and other department leaders.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in finance, economics, industrial engineering, accounting, supply chain management, operations and information systems, business administration and management, mathematics, or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 12-week duration of the internship between May and September.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Understanding of basic business, accounting, and finance concepts with a working knowledge of Excel and SQL.
