    About the role#

    Annapurna Labs designs custom silicon for Amazon, including processors like Graviton and machine learning accelerators like Trainium and Inferentia. As an ASIC Engineer Intern, you will work on the full stack of our hardware development. You will be paired with a mentor and manager to help scope your project and support your professional growth. We aim to place you on a team that aligns with your specific technical interests and strengths.

    What you'll do#

    • Design and implement RTL for digital logic blocks using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
    • Develop and run verification environments to validate design functionality and coverage.
    • Support synthesis, timing analysis, and physical design flows.
    • Debug design issues through simulation and analysis.
    • Collaborate with architecture, verification, and physical design teams to take features from specification to silicon.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • A final graduation date of December 2027 or later.
    • Coursework or project experience in digital logic design and computer architecture.
    • Familiarity with a hardware description language such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
    • Understanding of fundamental digital design concepts including combinational and sequential logic, finite state machines, timing, and clocking.

    • This is a full-time, paid internship.
    • Work modality is on-site.
    • Locations available: Cupertino, California; Austin, Texas; or Seattle, Washington.
    • The internship term is rolling.
