About the role#
The Operations Finance (OFRP) Intern position provides hands-on experience within our supply chain finance teams. You will own an individual project from start to finish, receiving visibility from senior leadership across various business functions. This internship is not rotational, meaning you will support one specific team throughout your time with us. Based on performance, you may be considered for a full-time offer in our two-year rotational OFRP program.
What you'll do#
- Dive into data to support recommendations and drive resolutions for your project.
- Perform financial analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and capital investment needs.
- Collaborate with operational leadership and frontline associates to improve supply chain processes.
- Create and maintain reports that help business partners make informed decisions.
- Communicate project results and standard work outputs to Finance, Operations, and other department leaders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for finance, economics, industrial engineering, accounting, supply chain management, business administration, or mathematics.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 12-week summer term between May and September.
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL, along with an understanding of core business and finance concepts.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to influence others across an organization.
- A track record of using data to make decisions and build solutions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Location & details#
- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Modality: This is an on-site role. Remote work is not available.
- Requirement: Ability to relocate throughout Canada as needed.
