About the role#
This internship is part of the Amazon Finance Rotation Program. You will join the Global Accounting organization to work on building scalable processes and internal controls. The role involves partnering with accounting, finance, operations, and technology teams to support business growth and financial reporting accuracy. Interns are assigned a unique project and will present their findings to stakeholders and leadership at the conclusion of the program.
What you'll do#
- Apply accounting, analytical, and business skills to optimize processes and solve complex problems.
- Drive quality improvements across financial operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and technology.
- Manage a capstone project and present results to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting, including dual degree or sub-matriculation master's programs.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 12-week internship.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and business application.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data modeling.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
