2027 Amazon Finance Rotation Program - Accounting Intern

About the role#

The Amazon Finance Rotation Program Accounting Internship is designed for students pursuing a career in accounting. Interns join the Global Accounting organization to support scalable processes and internal controls. You will work on a unique project that requires you to apply your accounting knowledge and analytical skills to solve real-world business problems. Successful completion of the internship may lead to an offer for the full-time Accounting Finance Rotation Program (AFRP) after graduation.

What you'll do#

• Optimize accounting processes and drive quality improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across accounting, finance, operations, and technology.
• Manage a unique project throughout the duration of the internship.
• Present a capstone project to stakeholders and leadership to showcase your results.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting (or a concurrent sub-matriculation master's program).
• Graduation conferral date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Ability to commit to a 12-week internship working 40 hours per week.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data modeling.
• Ability to communicate complex data effectively and manage competing priorities.
