About the role#
The Amazon Finance Rotation Program Accounting Internship is designed for students pursuing a career in accounting. Interns join the Global Accounting organization to support scalable processes and internal controls. You will work on a unique project that requires you to apply your accounting knowledge and analytical skills to solve real-world business problems. Successful completion of the internship may lead to an offer for the full-time Accounting Finance Rotation Program (AFRP) after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Optimize accounting processes and drive quality improvements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across accounting, finance, operations, and technology.
- Manage a unique project throughout the duration of the internship.
- Present a capstone project to stakeholders and leadership to showcase your results.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting (or a concurrent sub-matriculation master's program).
- Graduation conferral date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to commit to a 12-week internship working 40 hours per week.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data modeling.
- Ability to communicate complex data effectively and manage competing priorities.
