About the role#
This is a 10-week, full-time internship program based in Haines City, Florida. You will work 40 hours per week and receive $28.00 per hour, with eligibility for overtime. Successful completion of this program may lead to full-time opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Learn warehouse operations by collaborating directly with warehouse staff.
- Assist leadership with training, administrative tasks, and interview events.
- Support the Inventory Control Team with daily control tasks.
- Participate in Waste Walks and Seven Step Problem Solving.
- Develop a report and presentation on a specific area of warehouse operations to share with executives.
- Work in varying temperatures, including refrigerator and freezer environments.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, reaching, and lifting products up to 45 pounds.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site in a warehouse setting.
