About the role#
This is a full-time, 10-week internship program based in Jefferson, Georgia. You will learn warehouse operations while working alongside staff and leadership. The role is paid at $28.00 per hour with eligibility for overtime. Successful completion of the program may lead to future full-time opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Learn warehouse operations and company policies by working with your training leader and team members.
- Assist leadership with administrative tasks, training, and recruitment events.
- Help the Inventory Control Team with daily tasks and participate in Waste Walks and problem-solving initiatives.
- Support warehouse performance and work to maintain a productive environment.
- Attend team meetings and company training sessions.
- Prepare a final report and presentation on a specific area of warehouse operations for executive review.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and attendance throughout the program.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare professional materials.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a group, build rapport, and maintain positive relationships.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Initiative, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
Location & details#
- Location: Jefferson, Georgia.
- Modality: On-site.
- Physical requirements: You will be standing continuously and frequently sitting, bending, reaching, gripping, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking. You must be able to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds. The role requires working in varying temperatures, including refrigerator and freezer environments.
