About the role#
This is a full-time, 10-week summer internship program based in Center Valley, Pennsylvania. You will work 40 hours per week, gaining hands-on experience by shadowing district managers and store leadership. Successful completion of this program may lead to a full-time opportunity upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Shadow store managers and manager trainees to learn fundamental store operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as payroll, sales book maintenance, memo verification, and invoice processing.
- Participate in the hiring process, including conducting interviews and leading orientations.
- Conduct customer walks and store tours to learn about customer satisfaction.
- Assist with inventory management, store resets, and grand openings.
- Prepare a formal report and presentation on an operational area to deliver to ALDI executives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Skill in prioritizing work to meet strict deadlines.
