About the role#
Albertsons Companies is hiring a Pharmacy Student Intern to join our team in Scottsdale. This role is for students currently enrolled in a pharmacy program who want to gain hands-on experience in a retail setting. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to support patient care and pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Perform all tasks under the guidance of a registered pharmacist or preceptor.
- Fill prescriptions while following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Consult with customers and health care professionals about drug therapy and health products.
- Participate in clinical services, including immunizations, vaccinations, and point of care testing.
- Help implement pharmacy initiatives to support store profitability.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license if required by Arizona law.
- Ability to adapt to changes in your schedule and work priorities.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to cooperate with others.
