About the role#
The Regional Services Business Development team acts as an internal consultancy for Airbus Americas Customer Services. We focus on initiatives that require strategic definition before execution. You will work at the intersection of internal transformation and market strategy to help map the path forward for new projects. This role involves taking ambiguous goals and building the architecture or operational design required to move them forward.
What you'll do#
- Define problems, build blueprints, and pilot solutions.
- Architect strategy for new services or internal systems.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and investigate external trends in commercial aviation services.
- Redesign workflows and resolve friction points.
- Design value propositions, pricing models, and prototypes to prove commercial value.
- Transform strategic goals into revenue-ready deliverables through commercial enablement.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or Business Administration.
- Authorized to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Ability to work on-site in Herndon, VA for the duration of the summer.
- A hybrid mindset that balances business acumen with technical curiosity.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to define problems before seeking solutions.
- Proficiency in English and Google Workspace.
