    About the role#

    As an A320 Family Liaison Engineering Intern, you will work within the Final Assembly Line environment in Mobile, Alabama. This role connects your academic background with practical engineering support for primary and secondary airframe structures. You will work alongside engineering teams to ensure production flow, safety, and airworthiness of A320 aircraft.

    What you'll do#

    • Review shop-floor non-conformities, concessions, and technical queries regarding airframe structures.
    • Organize, update, and draft basic design datasets, rework instructions, and Design Query Notes.
    • Participate in innovation projects focused on automation, data analytics, or digitalization.
    • Attend shop-floor briefings, record meeting minutes, and support liaison activities between engineering teams.
    • Generate weekly status reports and assist in the creation of technical presentation materials.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an accredited, full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
    • Minimum Sophomore standing or current enrollment in a Master’s degree program.
    • Basic understanding of airframe structural concepts, mechanical design principles, and material properties.
    • Familiarity with 3D CAD software and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
    • Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office suites.
    • Ability to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026.
    • The position is based on-site in Mobile, Alabama.
    • Interns are expected to participate in a project presentation with the leadership team and work with a dedicated mentor.
