About the role#
AIG is hiring a Summer Intern for the Claims department in Toronto. This program offers hands-on experience in the insurance industry through project work, instructor-led masterclasses, and networking opportunities. Interns gain exposure to various disciplines, including claims adjusting, administration, fraud, and recovery.
What you'll do#
- Support the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of claims.
- Analyze claims and operational data to identify trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and key business stakeholders.
- Monitor claims activity to help ensure accurate payments, appropriate reserving, and effective cost management.
- Promote consistency and claims best practices to support operational excellence.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with an expected graduation date no later than June 2028.
- Ability to participate in the full program from June 7 through August 6, 2027.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Modality: On-site (at least four days per week).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
