About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Summer 2027 internship for current law students. You will join the Claims department to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry. The program runs from June 7 through August 6, 2027. Interns who complete the program may be considered for a full-time role beginning in July 2028.
What you'll do#
- Manage litigation from the initial complaint through the appeals process.
- Evaluate claims and oversee litigation strategy.
- Report on trials and negotiate resolutions for various matters.
- Present findings and updates to senior management.
- Work alongside outside counsel to pursue optimal claims resolutions.
What you'll need#
- You must be a candidate for a JD degree with an expected graduation date no later than June 2028.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- You should demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- You must be able to collaborate with others and manage multiple priorities at once.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in Jersey City, New Jersey, or New York City, New York.
- You are expected to work in the office at least four days per week.
