About the role#
As a Technology Summer Intern, you will join AIG to gain hands-on experience by working alongside technology professionals on projects that support our business and technology priorities. This 9-week program offers exposure to how technology strategy, operations, and solutions support a global insurance organization. You will participate in instructor-led masterclasses, engage with senior leaders, and build professional connections through networking and mentoring circles.
What you'll do#
Depending on your specific team placement, you will contribute to one or more of the following areas:
- Support the development of enterprise and domain architecture roadmaps and requirements.
- Gather, analyze, and model data to generate insights for business decisions.
- Support the development, testing, and implementation of digital solutions.
- Contribute to software or systems engineering initiatives, including application development, cloud, and infrastructure.
- Assist with identifying, assessing, and managing technology risks and controls.
- Collaborate across teams to gather requirements and support solutions.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree to be received no later than June 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.
- Previous internship experience.
- Availability for the full program from June 7 through August 6, 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field.

- Locations: Charlotte, NC; Houston, TX; Jersey City, NJ.
- Modality: On-site (in-office at least four days per week).
