About the role#
This internship within Global Risk Intelligence and Technology (GRIT) provides hands-on experience supporting enterprise risk management solutions on the Archer platform. You will work alongside product owners, technology teams, and business stakeholders to contribute to the planning, development, and improvement of risk technology. This role is designed for students seeking exposure to the full product lifecycle, agile delivery, and operational efficiency initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Support product owners by maintaining backlogs and refining user stories or business requirements.
- Participate in agile activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder meetings.
- Conduct research to support product strategy, roadmap planning, and solution enhancements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Develop process maps, training materials, and business documentation.
- Support user research, feedback collection, and solution validation exercises.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by planning, executing, and tracking test cases.
- Monitor defects, delivery milestones, and implementation activities.
- Analyze product metrics and user adoption trends to create dashboards and reports for leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Business, Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Risk Management, Finance, or Computer Science.
- Interest in product management, business analysis, or enterprise technology.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, such as Scrum.
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting tools like Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret large volumes of information and organize complex tasks.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry is an asset, as is familiarity with risk management, governance, or internal controls.
