About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Madison, Wisconsin. You will work on-site and gain hands-on experience by contributing to fire protection design projects.
What you'll do#
- Design automatic fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD and AutoSPRINK software.
- Ensure all designs follow applicable codes and project requirements.
- Prepare stock lists in the standard company format.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor degree program, ideally in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- Prior experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
- Familiarity with the construction industry is helpful.
