About the role#
This internship provides data analytics support for projects across the Americas. You will help identify and use analytics tools, including artificial intelligence and large language models, to improve sales productivity and streamline channel strategies. The role involves a 12-month commitment with the potential for conversion to a full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Analyze customer and market data to find high-value prospects and sales opportunities.
- Use AI, machine learning, and automation tools to refine prospecting strategies.
- Develop insights to support decision-making for sales and marketing teams.
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and support the implementation of new solutions.
- Consolidate data sources and build dashboards, reports, and queries.
- Apply statistical methods to analyze datasets and identify trends.
- Create visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Partner with teams to turn data findings into actionable sales strategies.
- Support forecasting and planning efforts.
- Maintain data integrity and follow best practices for compliance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university as a sophomore or junior.
- Pursuit of a degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of programming languages and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work with complex datasets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Skills or interest in AI, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making.
- Interest in learning business automation tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Location & details#
- Remote work within the United States.
- Pay is $30.00 to $32.00 per hour.
- Schedule is full-time during the summer and part-time (10-20 hours per week) during the school year.
- Start dates are in November or December 2026.
- Includes eligibility for paid holidays and medical benefits.
- Agilent provides a laptop and necessary equipment for the duration of the internship.
