About the role#
This is a part-time internship role focused on supporting administrative and research operations. You will work 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 1:00pm. This position is fully remote.
What you'll do#
- Perform patient and family visits.
- Deliver support services, studies, investigations, and research projects.
- Provide administrative office coverage, including answering phones and maintaining computer data.
- Type documents such as letters and create spreadsheets or presentations.
- Assist with data analysis, report creation, data entry, and filing.
- Communicate with the public and staff at all levels of the system.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate, master's, or postgraduate program.
- A GED or equivalent.
- Strong planning, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a changing environment.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Ability to lift 10 pounds to shoulder height, walk, sit, reach overhead, and push supplies on a cart.

- The role is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- This is a remote position available to residents of AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, and WY.
- This is a paid, part-time position.
