About the role#
This is a part-time, paid internship opportunity within the Talent Acquisition Programs department. It is a grant-funded position designed to accommodate your class schedule. We are looking for a currently enrolled undergraduate student to assist with various human resources and administrative tasks. Preference is given to students majoring in Human Resources or Business Administration. To meet specific grant guidelines, we are looking for students residing in select Chicago zip codes.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative office coverage, including answering phones and maintaining data.
- Prepare documents, letters, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Assist with research projects, investigations, and data analysis.
- Perform general office duties such as filing and data entry.
- Communicate with the public and staff at all levels of the organization.
- Participate in patient and family visits and provide support services as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at a college or university.
- Strong planning, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to a changing environment.
- Physical ability to walk, sit, reach overhead, and lift at least 10 pounds to shoulder height.

- Location: Oak Brook, Illinois.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, PRN (as needed around class schedule).
- Compensation: $18.85 - $28.30 per hour.
