    About the role#

    The CARE Intern role is a part-time position based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This internship is part of a Workforce Development collaboration with the Cakeable program. You will work up to 20 hours per week in an on-site capacity.

    What you'll do#

    • Visit patients and families to deliver support services.
    • Provide administrative office coverage, including answering phones.
    • Maintain computer data, type letters, and create spreadsheets or presentations.
    • Assist with research projects, data analysis, and report generation.
    • Support the team with data entry and filing tasks.
    • Communicate clearly with the public and staff at all levels of the system.
    • Perform physical tasks such as walking, sitting, and reaching, including lifting at least 10 pounds and pushing wheelchairs or rolling carts.

    What you'll need#

    • A GED or equivalent education.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
    • Experience working effectively as a member of a team.
    • Ability to adapt and respond to a changing environment.
    • Proficiency with computers.

    • Compensation: $18.85 to $28.30 per hour.
