About the role#
As a Student Business Development Team Lead, you will represent Starlink on behalf of Mosaic. This role focuses on sales, lead generation, and community outreach. You will own an assigned territory near your campus and help coordinate local recruiting and scheduling efforts.
What you'll do#
- Own your assigned territory and plan your daily routes.
- Conduct door-to-door sales and outreach to help families explore high-speed connectivity.
- Start conversations and build brand awareness for Starlink.
- Answer customer questions regarding service and hardware.
- Help interested customers use referral codes to order.
- Identify community engagement opportunities at local events and businesses.
- Log activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager.
- Support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- A reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- A self-motivated and coachable attitude.
Location & details#
- Location: Austin, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Training begins the week of October 5, 2026, with field work from October 12 through the end of the year.
- This is a paid, part-time position.
- Compensation includes an hourly base rate, commissions for qualified activations, and potential referral bonuses.
- Additional benefits include mileage reimbursement, a monthly cell phone stipend, and company-provided apparel.
