About the role#
As a Student Business Development Team Lead with Acosta Group, you will represent Starlink in your local area. This is a field-based role focused on sales, community outreach, and customer engagement. You will manage your own territory, identify potential customers, and help your team succeed through recruiting and coordination support.
What you'll do#
- Own your assigned territory by using broadband coverage maps and tools to identify households.
- Plan your daily routes and track your outreach efforts.
- Start conversations through door-to-door visits to explain service and hardware offerings.
- Answer customer questions and assist them in getting started using your personal referral code.
- Engage with the community at farmers' markets, local events, business partnerships, and civic groups.
- Turn positive interactions into referrals.
- Log your daily activity, sales, hours, and mileage using the field application.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager.
- Support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week.
- A reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- You must be 18 years or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
