About the role#
This internship is an 8 to 12 week program designed for college sophomores and juniors. You will gain exposure to the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry while developing technical, management, and leadership skills. This is a full-time, paid, on-site opportunity based in Tallahassee, Florida.
What you'll do#
- Receive training and perform duties across sales support, marketing, retail, and administrative departments.
- Learn about line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies.
- Set performance goals with upper management and monitor your progress alongside mentors.
- Observe experienced team members to understand methods, procedures, and standards.
- Attend company-sponsored training classes.
- Complete a management-assigned project and present your results to the local leadership team.
- Prepare and submit a summary of your experiences at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college sophomore or junior pursuing a Bachelor degree.
- Good academic standing.
- Prior related experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, time management, and meeting facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate leadership, and adapt to various situations.
- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to build professional rapport.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer for prolonged sessions, and lift or carry items up to 20 pounds.
