    About the role#

    This COOP Engineering Student position supports our technical operations at Abbott plants in Puerto Rico. You will apply knowledge from your engineering coursework to assist with daily tasks and assigned projects. This is a full-time, paid opportunity for the Summer 2026 term.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide technical support to plant operations.
    • Assist with various engineering tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
    • Collaborate with fellow students and team members to meet project goals.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be a 4th or 5th year student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
    • You need strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
    • You should have excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in software including Microsoft Excel, Word, and ER systems is necessary.
    • You must be available to work overtime and weekends if the business needs it.

    • Locations: Caguas, Arecibo, and Barceloneta, Puerto Rico.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Summer 2026.
