About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in corporate marketing, citizenship and sustainability, public affairs, and digital sponsorships. You will work on meaningful projects while receiving one-on-one mentorship across various experience levels. This is a 12-week, paid, full-time program.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Assist in developing marketing communication materials.
- Participate in brand architecture and design projects.
- Create written, video, and image content for various marketing channels.
- Develop communication plans for major initiatives.
- Learn about company citizenship and sustainability efforts.
- Support key sponsorship programs.
- Measure and report results of marketing initiatives.
- Participate in formal and informal training opportunities.
What you'll need#
- You have completed at least two to three years of college education.
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- You must be enrolled in school for the semester following the internship.
- You have a 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher.
- You possess an understanding of basic marketing and communications principles.
- You are familiar with major social media platforms.
- You have strong oral and written communication skills.
- You have a desire to work in the healthcare field.
- You are authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Abbott Park, Illinois.
- The pay range is $16.85 to $33.75 per hour.
- Housing and transportation are provided if you meet specific criteria.
- The role requires 15% travel and involves continuous sitting for prolonged periods.
